Comprehensive Exams

Regular check-ups are essential to maintaining good oral health. Our exams are thorough and include an oral cancer screening, x-rays, 3D intraoral scan, and an evaluation of your bite.

Routine Teeth Cleanings

Routine teeth cleanings involve removing plaque and tartar, as well as polishing the teeth. Our cleanings are done using an ultrasonic dental scaler as well as hand instruments to ensure a thorough cleaning.

Deep Cleanings

A deep cleaning, also known as a scaling and root planing, involves thoroughly cleaning the teeth and gums below the gum line to treat gum disease.

Sealants

Dental sealants are protective coatings applied to the chewing surfaces of your back teeth that help prevent tooth decay. They do this by sealing off deep grooves where bacteria can accumulate whenever consuming food.

Fillings

We use tooth-colored fillings to repair cavities and restore the function and natural appearance of teeth.

Crowns and Bridges

These restorations are used to repair broken or severely decayed teeth. Bridges are used to replace missing teeth.

Root Canal Therapy

Root canal therapy is used to treat an infected dental pulp. It allows you to save your natural tooth, while freeing you from pain and infection.

Extractions

In some cases, a tooth may need to be removed to keep your mouth healthy. We perform extractions with care and comfort in mind.

Dentures and Partials

If you have missing teeth, we offer dentures and partials as a replacement option.

Nightguards

A night guard is a custom-fitted, removable oral appliance worn to protect the teeth from the damage associated with grinding and clenching. It can be worn at night and any time during the day when you find yourself clenching or grinding your teeth.

Retainers

Retainers are custom-made oral appliances worn after orthodontic treatment to maintain the corrected position of the teeth and prevent relapse of misalignment.

Regular dental visits are important for maintaining good oral health. During these visits, your doctor can detect and treat oral health issues early, before they become more serious and more difficult to treat. Regular cleanings can also help prevent tooth decay and gum disease.
The American Dental Association (ADA) recommends visiting the dentist at least once every six months for a routine dental exam and professional cleaning. However, the frequency of dental visits may vary depending on your individual oral health needs. If you have a history of dental problems, such as gum disease, cavities, or frequent tooth decay, your dentist may recommend more frequent visits to monitor your oral health and provide preventive treatments.
Your doctor will screen for oral cancer, then examine your teeth, gums, and bite for any signs of decay, disease, or other issues. X-rays and photos will be taken and used to formulate a treatment plan that is unique to you and your oral health care needs.

Dr. Sison and the whole team at mend dental are top-notch. I was actually a client from the previous doctor, but I have been even more satisfied when Dr. Sison took over the practice. I really like the practice is very focused on dental health, and not overly pushy on cosmetic dentistry. In addition to my routine cleanings, the mend team has done some emergency and day-of work for me when I've asked, and they are always quick and detailed. I've had to move appointments around due to work events, and I appreciate their afternoon availability. Always gentle, always providing good tips, and super clean teeth. Really appreciate the work Dr. Sison and the team puts in.

By far the most attentive and caring staff I have experienced in a dental office. From previous places I have bounced around, I can say I will be here to stay at Mend Dental. The staff here go out of their way to get to know me and make it such a comfortable and smooth experience. They were extremely punctual and efficient, which I personally look for in a dental office.
